  • Booster Club Invites You to Get Involved
    Booster Club would like to invite all parents and community members to become a part of Buffalo Booster Club. Booster Club is a parent and community member led organization that organizes events and fundraisers that help to support the athletic programs at BPMS and BHS. The more members we have the more that we can do for our students! 
    We also help to promote spirit by running a Bison Booster store which has clothing wear, hats, lanyards, and more!The Online Booster Store is now up and running!   • FBLA Presents Haunted Hustle 5K
    Buffalo High School's Future Business Leaders of America will present the Haunted Hustle 5K and Mini Monster Dash Saturday October 26 at 4 p.m. at Buffalo High School. Early bird registration is $35 before October 15 and $40 at the gate. Free Yeti cup for participants. Mini Monster Dasy will be $10 registration fee.   • Cross Country Team Taking Shirt Orders
    Buffalo High School & Middle School Cross Country will be placing an order for team t-shirts by Thursday, August 29th. The shirts are a black heathered dry-fit material and will be $12 each. To order, please click the link below to see the shirt and fill out the google form. Payments must be cash or check made out to Buffalo High School (memo CC T-Shirt) and received to the high school office or Coach Barnhart by Thursday. Extra shirts will be sold at our home meet on October 10th (supplies limited so don't wait). Thank you for your support of our athletes this season!   • Freshman Orientation
    Buffalo High School would like to invite the Class of 2023 to Freshman Orientation Tuesday, August 13 from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm in the Field House (parents will drop-off their freshmen and do not need to return until 11:45 am for a parent meeting).  More information will be coming soon to all freshmen.  Open House will start at 6:00 pm.  Mrs. Sherrell (HS counselor) who is our Link Crew coordinator will send out information to our incoming freshmen and our upperclassmen Link Crew leaders who will be trained this summer.  The students will participate in many fun activities to help them learn team building, cooperative skill development, discussion skills, and the essentials skills to be successful in high school.  The Link Crew Leaders will help their freshmen groups get an insiders view of the rules and procedures at BHS such as CANVAS, 1:1 Chromebook procedures, and persistence to graduation, time management, attendance policy, dress code, handbook, Bison Time, Bison University, and more.  Sponsors and coaches will be available to share information about the activities available to high school students.  Research indicates students who participate in activities are more successful in high school.  Administration will meet with freshmen parents for a short parent meeting at 11:45 am in the Shewmaker Auditorium and then you will meet back up with your child at 12:30 pm.  All freshmen need to plan to attend on august 13 from 8:00 12:30 pm and we look forward to kicking off a great school year.

  • Link Crew-Freshman Transition Program
    All incoming BHS freshmen (class of 2023) will be part of our new Link Crew freshmen transition program that will link freshmen with successful upperclassmen student Link Crew leaders to train all of our incoming freshmen in team building, cooperative skill development, discussion skills, and the essentials skills to be successful in high school.

  • BHS Welcomes New Teachers
    Buffalo High School will welcome five new teachers this year. 

    New teachers include: Derek Cook - ELA/Drama/Theater teacher/Asst. Baseball, Logan Beach – Social Studies teacher/Asst. Football coach BPMS/Asst. Baseball coach BPMS, Brett Stump – Art/Art Club, Joey Stokes – AG teacher/FFA Co-Advisor, Phoebe Powers has moved over to BHS from BPMS - SPED teacher, Sonya Austin – Administrative Asst./attendance secretary/registrar, and Alana Shockley counselor students L-Z/Dual Credit/Scholarships/Peer Mediation/Student Scheduling.

  • Student MAP Score Release
    The high school and middle school have received student Missouri Assessment Program scores and student performance reports. Parents can pick up their students' scores at Parent Teacher Conferences October 24th along with their students' 1st quarter report card.  Parents who are unable to attend parent teacher conferences will have their students' scores mailed home.  Also, let me remind you to complete your child's back to school registration by Friday, August 9. Registration can be completed online. You can find the link on the bisonpride.org website. Open house at all school buildings will be Tuesday, August 20 from 6-8 p.m. and the first day of school is August 22.
