Welcome to D.A. Mallory Elementary. Our elementary school is home to over 600 enthusiastic students and to more than 70 dedicated teachers and support staff. Our school is a Kindergarten through 4th grade building with an Early Childhood Center located on our campus. We offer part-time preschool services, Parents as Teachers education, a Gifted Student Program, Title I Intervention services, after-school programming, and a variety of other enrichment opportunities for our students and families. Believe in ME Summer School, June 1-28, 2022
Believe in ME Summer School will be provided at Mallory Elementary for incoming Kindergarten through 4th grade students. Summer dates are June 1 - 28. Students may arrive at 7:45 for breakfast. Class will begin at 8 am, and we will dismiss at 2:30. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost. The Believe in ME Summer School Brochure is attached to the email sent along with this automated call and on the Mallory Website at www.bisonpride.org. Elementary Basketball Program
The basketball camp will be continuing for 3rd and 4th grade girls and boys on the same scheduled dates which are Mondays and Thursday through May 19. The camp will begin after school but will not conclude until 5:30 p.m. since the school days have been extended. Summer Baseball
The Buffalo Baseball Club will be sponsoring a Summer Baseball League in Buffalo. They are registering children ages 4-12 (will take potty trained 3 years olds). There will be a sign up at the new Buffalo City Park April 30 from 10 a.m. to noon. The fee is between $20-30, plus one box of candy bar sales or an extra $30. Games start on June 2 and will conclude before July 1. The assessment camp is April 30 from 10 a.m.-noon at the new City Park on the corner of Autoscope and Hickory.
They will be offering other recreational FULL teams from other small towns/school districts with no leagues of their own in our 12u age group ONLY. (NO travel teams allowed) Please message the page for details.

PK/Kindergarten Screening Opens
Registration for incoming Kindergarten and Preschool students is now open. Registration will be available online by utilizing the link below. Once you have submitted the online registration, someone from the school will call to set up a screening appointment. Preschool screening will be April 25, May 2, May 9, and Kindergarten screening will take place March 16. 17, 18. Incoming Kindergarten students must be five years of age by August 1, 2017. Incoming Preschool students must be age four by August 1, 2017. A parent or guardian must accompany their student to the screening. Screening will last about one hour.

Mrs. Adam's Pre-K students participated in Read Across America week by reading in a tipee.
The students have been excited about earning books from the new book vending machine.
The Mallory Elementary Student Council has been showing staff appreciation monthly.
It is an exciting time in the Music room! Kindergarten students are learning about the scale and partner dances.
Mallory Elementary celebrated Read Across America Day throughout the week of March 2, 2022.
Kindergarten has been learning about the forces of push and pull during their STEM classes.
Kindergarten students built a house to help with their study of 3D Shapes, 19 whole students fit inside!
