A letter from the Principal
Dear Buffalo High School Community,
I would like to officially welcome each of you to the 2022-2023 school year! We have many exciting things planned for our students this year and we are anxious to get the year started. My name is Brandon Jackson and I am excited to serve as the new Principal of Buffalo High School. As a graduate of BHS, I know exactly what a special place this is, and how important our school is to the community. I absolutely love working for Dallas County R-I Schools and I am excited to take on this new adventure.
We are blessed with an incredible group of people working at the High School, and I look forward to working with them to continue to provide the best education possible for our students. Our students are some of the best in the state, and I am excited to play a small part in their educational journey. I believe in doing what is right at all times, even when it isn't easy. When our students walk across the stage and accept their diploma, my hope is that we have helped develop them into knowledgeable, respectable, caring adults. This feat would not be possible without the support of our parents and community members.
We have many exciting things to offer your students this year. Fall sports and clubs have already begun preparing for their upcoming seasons, teachers have been working to prepare meaningful lessons and our front office team has been working to get student information into the system and ready to start on August 23rd. Online Registration will open soon. Please make sure to complete the required documents in your portal as soon as possible. My goal this year is to publish a newsletter each month to help relay the needed information from our building to parents and community members alike. These will be published on the BHS Facebook and instagram pages.
If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at 417-345-2223 or brandon.jackson@bisonpride.org
Here's to a great 2022-2023 school year. Go Bison!
Mr. Jackson
