  • Graduation Rescheduled to June 6
Class of 2020 Seniors, your graduation ceremony scheduled for May 15th has been officially re-scheduled for Saturday June 6th.  Our Dallas County R-1 Board of Education voted last night to change the date to give us more time to hopefully allow for a traditional graduation ceremony if at all possible.  If the social distancing orders have not been lifted and do not look likely closer to June 6th then we have a Drive-Through Senior car parade graduation back-up plan (more information will be sent out later).  Your senior sponsors are working closely with Dr. White to make your graduation a great ceremony to honor you as a class. The senior scholarships and awards ceremony will be a virtual Facebook Premiere that you and your family can watch from home on Thursday, May 14th at 7:00 pm (more information and a link will be sent out later).

  • BHS Updates April 21, 2010
Attention BHS students and parents please read the following updates and procedures based on the Governors recent order to close all Missouri’s schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

We will continue to provide virtual instruction through Canvas, email, and phone contact with your teachers for the remainder of this school year.  Your second semester grade will be based on your 3rd Quarter grade and any work you turn in up until the last dates to submit work (May 8th for seniors and May 20th for grades 9-11).  Any coursework you turn in from the start of our school closure (March 17th) until the last date to submit work is hold harmless and can only improve your Semester 2 grade.

Starting tomorrow April 22nd from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm each day you can return past paper packets, textbooks, library books, and other school property (please label any items returned with your name and grade on them) to the plastic tubs that will placed in the mezzanine of the front entrance of BHS.  Do not turn in any Chromebook’s as we collect our senior’s  Chromebook’s on May 11-12th (more information will be sent out later) and grades 9-11 will keep their Chromebook’s for the summer as usual.

All of the lockers have already been cleaned out for you and all of your belongings have been bagged up and labeled with your name, locker number, and grade.  You can start picking up your locker bags tomorrow in the front entrance mezzanine during the posted hours above.  If you had medicine that has been left with the nurse you can also pick that up starting tomorrow but please call the BHS office ahead of time and make arrangements so someone can be available to meet you.
