Hello! My name is Ms. Cherry and I would like to share a bit about myself with my preschool families! My name is Cherry Ybanez, but my students have always called me Ms. Cherry. I have taught in the Dallas County R1 District for 18 years; preschool for 15 years and kindergarten for 3 years.  I have my certification in Early Childhood Education (birth through third grade) and Elementary Education (first through sixth grade).  I also have a Master's Degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University. I am originally from Georgia, but I have called Southwest Missouri home for over 30 years.  I currently reside in Bolivar with my son Robert, who recently got his Master's Degree from Mizzou.  I have 5 children and 2 grandchildren who live in Georgia. I am excited to have the opportunity to get to know your child this year and to help them grow as learners and friends!
