Michael Castrodale is a 30 year police veteran. Mr. Castrodale started his law enforcement career in 1980 as a Military Policeman in the US Army. Mr. Castrodale spent three years in the Army and was stationed in German and CONUS. After being discharged from the Army, Mr. Castrodale attended Southwest Baptist University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Mr. Castrodale attended the Springfield Police Reserve Police Academy. He spent two years as a reserve police officer before being hired by Christian County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Castrodale spent five years at Christian County where he worked as a deputy and investigator. Mr. Castrodale left Christian County to work at Springfield Police Department where he worked for 20 years before retiring in 2014. Mr. Castrodale then worked for two years as an investigator for the Division of Senior and Disability Services before being hired by the Buffalo R-1 School District.
