Hello!

My name is Ashlee Bowling and I teach second grade. This will be my 4th year teaching here at Mallory and I have loved every moment!

I am from Lebanon, Missouri but I recently moved to Springfield with my cat, Nigel where I graduated from Missouri State University with my Bachelor's in Education. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling. My dream is to travel all over the world, but so far I've only checked off a few places from my bucket list, like the Grand Canyon, New York City, Costa Rica, and a few more in the States! 

At school, my favorite subject to teach is reading because it is so important! I enjoy teaching reading in small groups and having so many different activites for students to do all year long. We love to read books, build words, write stories, and illustrate our work during our reading stations!
