Hello third grade families! I am Mrs. Payne, and I am a first year teacher. I graduated from Drury University with my Bachelors in Elementary Education and will soon be taking classes to complete my Masters degree. My passion has always been teaching, and I look forward to being in the classroom this year at Mallory Elementary! I was fortunate enough to complete my student teaching here, and that is when I fell in love with the school district and town. I am originally from Bolivar, and Buffalo has the same hometown feel that I grew up with. I live in Halfway with my husband, Bryant, and our two pitbull mixes, Maggie and Lucy. We farm beef cattle, as well as row crop. In my free time I enjoy being with family and friends, as well as reading, crafting, and photography. I look forward to a fantastic year at Mallory!
