Introducing Canvas Parent App!
This video mentions teachers creating a pairing code. We have given student accounts the ability to generate the code. You will need to generate the code for your student's account instead of asking the teacher to generate the code.

What's included in this app?
View Student Courses and Grades

The Courses tab displays the list of courses that their students are enrolled in. For each course, parents can see course grades, syllabus, assignments, and events. Grades display according to the course grading scheme.
View Student Assignments and Events

Assignments and events can be viewed by course or week. Parents can set reminders for a specific assignment or event, which are sent to mobile devices as push notifications.
Set Alerts for Student Activity

Parents can set alerts for specific assignments and grade activity. Alerts are displayed on the Alerts page in the app.
Note on grades: Official grades are reported in our Student Information System (SISK12). You may notice a discrepancy between grades on Canvas and grades posted in the SISK12 parent portal. The canvas grade book may include items that will not be included in final grades and/or grades from Canvas may not yet be posted to SISK12. If you have concerns about grades please contact your students' teacher.
